Sheppard Entertainment Group

Sheppard Entertainment Group (SEG) is a promotions company located in Greenville, North Carolina.  Our motto is to provide wholesome, family-oriented entertainment to communities. Our theme is to provide a ‘SEGway’ between youth and young adults.  We aim to provide them with alternatives to typical teen and club hang-outs in exchange for positive entertainment venues. These venues provide educational and culturally diverse opportunities that will introduce them to various art forms.

Some of SEG’s projects include bringing in comedy tours to local municipalities, sponsoring minority events such as business expos to providing financial and promotional backing for gospel plays. Sheppard Entertainment Group also gives to charitable events.  All of the aforementioned events are aimed at teaching today’s youth real-life lessons and taking a hands-on approach to making a difference in the world.

To date, we have provided entertainment to the citizens of Snow Hill by hosting The Soul Funny Comedy Tour.  The Soul Funny Comedy Tour is a show with down home laughter where jokes can be repeated in school, home, church, or work.  It has been described as ‘healing with helpful humor that eases our everyday lives.’  Founder Stephen Sheppard said, “‘Laughter is Prayze’ has and always will be my motto, says founder Stephen Sheppard.

SEG was proud to be a sponsor of Greenville’s 1st Minority Business Expo. “The expo was aimed at highlighting minority businesses.  And here at Sheppard Entertainment, we believe in diversity,” said Sheppard of his company’s involvement.

Sheppard Entertainment Group has worked with Around the Table Productions promoting the stage play “The House That Joy Built”.  “We got involved with the play because it had a deep spiritual meaning to it, and we thought it was one the public should see because of its family values,” said Sheppard.

Sheppard Entertainment Group opened its doors in July of 2006 and intends to be around for years to come making a positive impact in North Carolina communities and around the country.
